O.A. (Ottilie) Nieuwenhuis MSc (scientific staff member)
Ottilie Nieuwenhuis joined AWTI as a scientific staff member in 2020.
Among her previous activities, she has worked in the Media, Literature and Libraries department of the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, where she co-authored the policy for the (future) public broadcasting system. She went on to work at TNO Strategy and Policy is a researcher and programme manager on research themes in relation to the transformative media and energy sectors. Whilst here she gained wide experience of policy evaluation and monitoring, benchmarking and impact analyses for both national and international clients, including the European Commission, Dutch government agencies and sector organisations. She also helped shape the role of TNO within the Top Sector Creative Industry and CLICKNL. Finally, she worked at the National Library of the Netherlands on policy research and network design for public libraries. Ottilie studied Communication at Radboud University Nijmegen (2008), specialising in Culture and Ethics.
